Disclaimer for the On-Demand Weather Info Feature
As detailed in our Terms of Service, we don't guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any Third-Party Content that we deliver as part of the On-Demand Weather Info feature or any other On-Demand Content feature.
In fact, we don't guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any part of our service.
SMS Messaging is a "best-effort" platform and there are just too many factors outside of our control that can affect the deliverability and timeliness of the SMS Messages that we send you. Normally, you get your TxtReminders right on schedule, and it's generally a very reliable service. In many ways, it's more reliable than a lot of other similar services out there because of the way we have built the system that schedules and sends the reminders to you.
However, it unfortunately does have to be made abundantly clear that you should never take any Action or sustain any Inaction as a result of the information you receive or don't receive from TxtReminders.
In the case of Third-Party information that we obtain from another source that we do not control (like Weather, Stock Pricing, Forex Pricing, Precious Metals Pricing, Public Health Information, etc.), the risk of the information being out-dated, inaccurate, or not representing exactly what you think it represents, is greatly increased.
As such, please ensure you are fully understanding that this information "should be accurate", but is not guaranteed to be accurate. This is a risk you take on willingly if you choose to use these features.
We believe, however, that you'll find this Dynamic, On-Demand Information feature extremely beneficial despite these warnings. After all, we would not offer the service if we didn't personally use it ourselves and find it to have a lot of value ourselves.
Besides - you can't believe anything you read, see, or hear anyways! So take the information for what it is, and always double check your facts from another reputable source before you act on it.
